Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival and Sunset

  • Morning/Afternoon: Depart from Dhaka by bus or private vehicle for a comfortable road journey to Kuakata.

  • Afternoon: Arrive in Kuakata and check into your hotel. After settling in, you'll have free time to relax and explore the beach on your own.

  • Evening: As dusk approaches, head to the main beach to witness the spectacular sunset over the Bay of Bengal. The sky bursts with vibrant colors as the sun dips below the horizon.

  • Overnight: Stay in a hotel in Kuakata.

Day 2: Sunrise, Forests, and Local Culture

  • Early Morning: Wake up before dawn to visit a designated sunrise point, such as Gangamati Char, to watch the sun rise out of the sea.

  • Morning: After breakfast, embark on a day of exploration. Take a thrilling boat ride to Fatrar Char, a beautiful mangrove island. Afterward, you will visit the Rakhine Tribal Village to learn about their traditions and see their famous weaving.

  • Afternoon: Explore the local market, and visit the historical Kuakata Buddhist Temple which houses a large statue of Gautama Buddha.

  • Evening: Enjoy the final sunset of your trip from the Kuakata beach and perhaps enjoy a fresh seafood BBQ dinner.

  • Overnight: Stay in a hotel in Kuakata.

Day 3: Farewell to Kuakata

  • Morning: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast. You have some free time to take a final walk on the beach, visit the local dry fish markets (Shutki Polli), or explore the coconut garden.

  • Afternoon: Check out of your hotel. You will be transferred to your bus for the return journey to Dhaka.
